WILLIAM E. "BILL" BOGDONOVICH, age 72, of Willard, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood, WI.  Rev. Matthew Szymanski will officiate, and burial will follow in the parish Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until time of service.

     William Edward Bogdonovich was born on November 8, 1953 in Marshfield, WI, the eldest child of Edward M. and Marilyn J. (Bertz) Bogdonovich.  He was raised and received his education in Greenwood, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1972 as his class valedictorian.  After high school, Bill attended UW-La Crosse for four years, earning a Bachelor's Degree in English, Biology and Chemistry.  He then enrolled at UW-Madison, earning his Master's Degree in English, Biology and Chemistry.  Bill then moved to Mississippi to receive his Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi, while teaching English and Biology at Biloxi High School in Biloxi, MS.  It was here that he met his future wife, Maria I. "Mabel" Stockebrand, and they were united in marriage on May 19, 1992 in Neillsville, WI.  They moved back to Willard, bought a farm, and began Sunny Valley Organic Farm.  Bill was very successful in farming, winning many awards for his quality of milk and produce grown.  He resided on the farm until his death.

     Bill had many interests, but especially loved being with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, was an avid reader, and a huge supporter of Packer football and Brewers baseball.

     He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mabel, of Willard; his stepchildren: Rod (Carolina) Stockebrand of Weston, FL and Barbie (Adrian) Dearman of Columbia, MS; four stepgrandchildren: Jaslyn Dearman, Adrian Dearman, Jr., Anita and Elizabeth Stockebrand; other relatives and friends.

     Bill was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Blaine Bogdonovich; and one sister, Mary Lee Bogdonovich.
