Bill Bogdonovich was a good man. He was one of my closest friends throughout grade school and high school. I remember him with fondness and am grateful for our strong friendship during those formative years.
Among my good memories are the many hours we spent together down at the river—fishing at the rips, trapping and hunting rabbits, and sometimes cooking them over a fire. We were there in every season, always looking for an adventure. One winter, while walking on the ice, we both broke through and came home completely soaked. After changing into dry clothes, we went right back out to explore some more.
Some of my best memories of Bill are of the many long, thoughtful conversations we had. Bill had a depth of character and quiet intelligence that have stayed in my mind all these years. Bill was one of a kind—kind-hearted, generous, and wise. He was always warm and sincere to his family and friends, and he left a lasting impression on all who knew him. I have always remembered and will continue to remember, Bill with deep affection and respect.

So sorry to hear of Bills passing. My husband and I worked along side of him at Rock Dam. He was such a friendly and happy go lucky guy. He loved chatting with the co workers and the campers at Rock Dam campsites.

Fond memories of staying the night at Uncle and Aunt Bogdonovich's house. In the morning following Bill with fishing pole and worm can in hand, past the high school, through the cemetery, down a path through the woods to a most beautiful spot on the Black River. Bill told me this was the spot to catch lots of fish, every kind of fish that swims in the Black River. It was called The Rips. There we caught fish- bass, suckers, walleye, red horse, northerns, catfish. Some day I am gonna grab a can of worms and hike down to that area to see if I can find that spot. Good Times
