A Celebration of Life to honor Delores is being planned for a later date.

     Delores J. Drews, age 79, of Owen, WI, passed away peacefully at Clark County Rehab & Living Center in Owen, WI on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease.  A Celebration of Life for Delores will be held at a later date to honor her memory.

     Delores Jean Sagert was born on April 3, 1947 in Lake Geneva, WI, to LeRoy J. and Wilma M. (Gates) Sagert.  She was united in marriage to Gary P. Drews on June 4, 1966 in Lake Geneva, and shared 60 years of marriage with her beloved husband, with whom she built a life centered on family.  They moved to Greenwood, WI in 1979 and purchased The Blue Mirror Bar and bowling alley, which they operated until 1985.  They resided in the Greenwood area until her passing.

     Delores had many interests, growing up with a deep love for music, laughter, and bringing people together.  Her compassion, resilience, and unwavering kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

     She is survived by her husband, Gary; her children: Terry Braun (Todd), Debbie Gilmour (Adam), Lacey Drews-Smith (Brian); her brothers: Keith Sagert (Pat), Dan Sagert (Shelly); her grandchildren: Logan (Isabelle), Halle (Abert), McKenzie (Brad), Kena (Rachel), Brooklyn (Jaden), Drew, Jersey, Oakley; her great-grandchildren: Eastynn, Jack, Grayson, Jovi, Lennon, Emiyah; and extended family members.

     Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Vanna Sagert; and her grandson, Chase. 

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support Huntington’s Disease research.  Contributions may be directed to organizations dedicated to advancing treatment and finding a cure, such as the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
