I do worship at 3 Oaks on the last Tuesdays of the month (both units). Helen has been one of the most faithful participants. Because she did not suffer dementia, she was able to help other residents. Lately, she has often been asleep, but she always wanted us to wake her up so she wouldn't miss it. On a few occasions she went to the service in the other part of the building. When I learned that the building was quarantined last Tuesday, I was concerned for her because I knew her health was fragile. Rev. Dan Zimmerman is a friend and colleague. She often asked me to take greetings to him. I have met a couple of members of the family, but do not know you well. May you be comforted in the knowledge that nothing, not even death, can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. God is with us in life and in death.
