I was in shock when I heard of Sherri's passing. I was looking forward to seeing her during the holidays, her beautiful smile, and you knew you meant something to her as she gave you her full attention. She was a blessing to so many and touched so many lives, she will be deeply missed ♥️

I send my condolences to Andy Hughes and Family,
I unfortunately couldn’t make it to the wake or the funeral due to the poor weather that came up! If the weather wouldn’t have been an issue, I would be there!
Sherri, you will forever be the light that has guided me through the worst of my life! You have gotten me through so much! I will always love and cherish our memories that we’ve had together. You are the reason that I am in love with running. I remember and will always remember you screaming at us to run faster in our meets and I would always think to myself, “man, it actually helps when she does that”. Sherri, I will always remember you. Before I start every race, I will think of you! I will think of how you always gave us words of encouragement, always screamed at us to go faster, and how you ALWAYS told us that even if we didn’t think we did well in a race, that we did well in her eyes! I will miss you Sherri! You are and will forever be a true inspiration, not only to me, but to countless others!

Deepest sympathy & Hugs to Sherri's family. Sherri was very proud of her family ❤️ I enjoyed working with her at Family Dollar & was amazed how she knew customers by name. Sherri always showed up with a smile on her face while she fought the cancer & was fun to work with! Sherri did so much for the schools & community that she will never be forgotten & definitely loved by all❤️ Rest in peace my coworker/friend

There are no words for the loss of Sherri, she was such an active member of the community and is going to be missed by so many people. Things just aren’t going to be the same without seeing her smiling face. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family
