Condolences to the Family of Henry E. "Shorty" Aumann, Jr.

Stephen M. Rinka Los Angeles, CA – Posted On: October 20, 2022

I remember Mr. Aumann from the many times he was at the funeral home doing remodeling work. I was always impressed with the finished product and, to this day, he has shown himself to be a top notch carpenter. As I sit here and type this condolence, some of the things that stick out to me about Mr. Aumann are the stainless steel wire rimmed glasses that he always wore, his infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. I cannot recall the last time I spoke or saw Mr. Aumann, but seeing his picture brought back instant memories of him. My deepest of condolences go out to his wife, children and grandchildren. I hope you can take comfort in the fact that his suffering has ended and that he is now in a better place.

We'd like to extend our condolences to the Aumann Family. Agnes and my father John H Langreck were brother and sister. Miles and years have passsed since our family visited in Loyal and Neilsville for family reunions, etc. Being one of the three remaining siblings of John' family, I see that there are only Caroline and Dorene left of the Aumann family. Our Sympathy is extended to them as well.

Every year we get together that last day of summer and say see ya next summer, give a hug , but this year is really hard. Shorty was a good neighbor and also a good friend. He was alway there to help out and very thankful for that. But most of all he would always make me laugh when he would come to share stories with us! That is what I look forward too when I see him again❤️ God is Good All the time!

I still remember the first time meeting Shorty and Randy when meeting with home builders. As soon as they left my husband and I had a feeling we had just met some great trustworthy people and knew Henry Aumann Builders would be building our home. It was such a pleasure seeing Shorty and his team every day. We were sad to see them go when the project was over and have thought of Henry, Lois, Randy and Bob as friends since. With heavy hearts we smile as we remember Henry. It was a pleasure to have known him. He was a great carpenter, conversationalist, and a kind heart. That warm smile of his will be missed.

We were fortunate to have Hank and Lois, Lori, Brian and Randy as our wonderful neighbors for many years. And, we are immensely grateful to Hank for building the beautiful house that was our home in Loyal for 27 years. We trust he is at peace and want his family to know of our sympathy and prayer.
