Full Obituary

YVONNE A. BORGESON, age 84, of Withee, passed away suddenly at her her on Saturday, December 10, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Riverside Cemetery in Withee, with Rev. Tom Myhre officiating. There will be a visitation held at Thorp Funeral Home, in Thorp, on Thursday, from 10:00am until 12:00 noon.
Yvonne Arlene Hutton was born on November 22, 1932 in Fort Benton, Montana, the daughter of Roger and Blanche (Combs) Hutton. When Yvonne was 4 years old, her family moved to Withee, WI and later Chippewa Falls, WI where she was raised and educated. After completing her education, she was united in marriage to Sigfrid E. Borgeson at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee on November 12, 1949. Over the years, Yvonne worked as a farm wife milking cows, working in the fields, and doing whatever was necessary to raise and support her family. She later worked as a janitor at The Flame Supper Club, The Water's Edge Supper Club, and also at the Midelfort Clinic until her retirement. While Yvonne never completely retired, she was always busy baking for various fundraisers, and helping out wherever she could.
She had many interests, but she especially enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, gardening, and playing solitaire. Her family meant everything to her and was always the #1 focus of her activities.
Yvonne is survived by her 2 children: Sidney (Marilyn) Borgeson of Withee, and Jacalyn (Tom) Reinke, of Owen; 4 grandchildren: Mathew Borgeson, Corrie (Matt) Bottlemy, Eric (Jenny) Borgeson, and David (Samantha) Borgeson; 6 great-grandchildren: Darryn and Grayce Bottlemy, Morgen and Dawson Borgeson, and Maddie and Rayland Borgeson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sigfrid on April 13, 2014; 1 sister: Bonnie Hehl and 2 brothers: Victor and Richard Hutton.
