Full Obituary

ARDIS B. RUBISCH, age 85, of Thorp, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her home. Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, in Withee, at a later date.
Ardis was born on March 10, 1930, in Thorp, WI, to Frank and Elsie (Schwartz) Broeren. She was raised in Thorp and received her education at Thorp area schools. After graduating from Thorp High School, Ardis attended UW-Eau Claire earning a bachelors degree in elementary education. She taught school in the Thorp School District for 35 years.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: David (Jolene) Rubisch of Chippewa Falls, Robert (Jane) Rubisch of Elk Mound, Michael (Robin) Rubisch of Tomah; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son: Tim Rubisch; and three sisters: Corinne Broeren, Dorothy Hanson and Louise Olsen.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials directed to the Thorp Public Library or Alzheimer's Research.
