Full Obituary

WILLIAM C. FIFER, JR., age 54, of Thorp passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home. No services will be held, per Bill's wishes.
William Chris Fifer, Jr. was born on September 16, 1961 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, WI to William and Theresa (Bielecki) Fifer. He was raised in the Thorp area and graduated from Thorp High School in 1980. After completing his education, Bill worked at Raber's Cheese Factory in Thorp for many years and then later at WeatherShield in Greenwood. He was united in marriage to Sheryl R. German on February 14, 2000 in Neillsville, WI. Bill had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a handyman who could fix anything - anytime, and was always willing to help others when needed.
Bill is survived by his wife Sheryl Fifer of Thorp, WI; 5 children: Rebecca (Kevin) Tomaszewski of Lublin, WI, John (Shauna) Luzinski of Greenville, WI, Glen (Melinda) Fifer of Lake Hallie, WI, Melissa Burzynski (Joe Prewict) of Cadott, WI, and Sherry (German) Samford of Webster, TX; 11 grandchildren (with one due in December 2015); his father: William Fifer of Greenwood, WI; 1 brother: Wayne (Peggy) Fifer of Stanley, WI; 4 sisters: Debra Fifer of Thorp, WI, Doreen (Dave) Koeppel of Marshfield, WI, Kathy (Mike) Campbell of Ohio, and Karen Fifer (Rick) of Auburndale, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Theresa M. Fifer.
