Full Obituary

     ARLENE J. LINDNER, age 77, of Greenwood, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Greenwood, with Rev. Steve Brice officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm, and again on Saturday, from 10am until time of service.
     Arlene Jean Balzer was born on April 21, 1938, in West Allis, WI, to Joseph and Elsie Balzer.  She was raised and received her education in West Allis, graduating from high school in 1956.  She then went to work at Allis Chalmers, in the Milwaukee unit.  Arlene moved to Greenwood and married the love of her life, James Lindner, on June 17, 1961 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Greenwood.  James and Arlene farmed in Greenwood, where they raised their six children.
     She was a loving mother, homemaker and farmwife.  Arlene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Society.  She had many interests, and especially enjoyed family, dancing, playing cards and sewing.
     Arlene will be dearly missed by her husband, Jim;  six children:  Steve of Eau Claire,  Matt (Sherri Slark) of Greenwood,  Jessica of Leesburg, VA,  Patti of Eau Claire,  Dave (Lora) of Greenwood,  Randy (Becky) of Wausau;  and nine grandchildren:  Samantha, Anna, Nolyn, Brecklyn, Graesyn, Jacob, Alyson, Alyssa, and Anthony (born December 1, 2015).
