Full Obituary

     WILBUR R. "BILL" BARTLETT, age 67, of Stanley, WI, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He died suddenly of heart failure. A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Eidsvold Cemetery in the Town of Thorp, with Pastor Randy VanDeLoo officiating.
     Wilbur Robert Bartlett was born on August 24, 1948 in Chicago, IL, to Robert and Katherine (Leis) Bartlett. He was raised and received his education in Chicago. After completing his education, Bill worked in the auto industry as a mechanic. He was united in marriage to Stephanie D. Gerrits on February 4 1989 in Waukegan, IL. In 2004, they moved to Stanley, WI, where Bill worked at several auto part stores until retiring in 2013.
     Family meant the world to Bill. He was a Chicago Bears fan, and back in the day, actually met some of the players. He was a cheerful guy, who loved to whistle, and enjoyed watching TV.
     He will be dearly missed by his wife of 26 years, Stephanie, of Stanley; five children: Dana Cardinale of Carpentersville, IL, Nicole (Eric) Clarida of South Elgin, IL, Alison (Franklin) Hunt of Navarre, FL, William Bartlett of New Jersey, Joshua Bartlett of Stanley; seven grandchildren: Alex, Shelby, Jordan, Madisyn, Mitchell, Nicholas and Skylar; four siblings: Robert (Joannie) Bartlett of Las Vegas, NV, Curtis (Marcie) Bartlett Moody, AL, Richard (Lisa Marie) Bartlett of Janesville, WI, Kathy (John) Ozga; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
