Full Obituary

ARLENE F. BUCHHOLZ, age 97, of Loyal, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Wells Nature View, in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Loyal United Methodist Church. Rev. Patsy Roe will officiate and burial will follow in the Loyal Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church, on Wednesday, from 10am until time of service.
Arlene Frances Buchholz was born on December 12, 1917 in Kendall, WI, to Daniel L. and Sarah E. (Bredlow) Buchholz. At an early age, she moved with her parents to Wilton, WI, living there for a short time before moving to Loyal, WI. She attended Dodgeville School and did domestic work for a while, before becoming a telephone operator in Loyal. Arlene then worked at the former Dairy Belt Plant in Spencer, now Land O' Lakes. She never married.
Arlene was a member of the Loyal United Methodist church. Her interests included music and she loved playing the piano.
She is survived by one sister: Vera Meinhardt of Marshfield; one nephew: Ron (Pat) Meinhardt of Pleasant Prairie, WI; and several cousins.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lorraine, in infancy.
