Full Obituary

     MARY J. DOLLE, age 81 of Greenwood, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 19, 2015.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Greenwood, WI, with Rev. Steve Brice officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Anthony, Paul, Nicholas, Eric and Christopher Dolle, David Schreindl, and Nick Kitzhaber.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Tuesday, from 10am until time of the service.
     Mary Joyce Spooner was born on December 24, 1933 in Harvey, IL, to Amos Sr. and Lillian (Case) Spooner.  She graduated from Ascension Grade School and attended three years of high school in Harvey, IL.  She married the love of her life, Kenneth R. Dolle, on January 19, 1952 in Joliet, IL.  They lived in the Harvey area until 1971, when they moved to their home in Greenwood, WI.  Together, they had 13 children.  Mary was a wonderful wife and mother, and took great joy in cooking, gardening, shopping and homemaking.  In addition to caring for her husband and children, Mary worked in housekeeping for St. Joseph’s Hospital from 1981-1999.  She enjoyed her work outside the home and the many friends she met while at St. Joseph's, but her greatest joy was in being a wife and mother.  Her children can attest to how unique she made each one of them feel and the gentle quality she had as a mother.  Mary had a deep faith in God and relied on her beliefs to carry her through good times and bad.  She loved to dance, especially to polka music.  Once on the dance floor, however, it was difficult to get her off.  She was kind to all who knew her, loved animals and the simple pleasures of life.
     She will be missed by her husband, Kenneth R. Dolle, Greenwood; her children: Karen (Jim) Mohr of Neillsville,  Denise Carter of Neillsville,  Anthony (Eloise) Dolle of Loyal,  Margaret (Jay) Ouimette of Neillsville,  Dawn Ormond (Matt Meyer) of Neillsville,  Jeannine Spooner (Nick) Kitzhaber of Arden Hills, MN,  Paul Dolle of Menomonie, WI,  Nicholas (Janet) Dolle of Neillsville,  George Dolle of Las Vegas, NV,  Eric Dolle of Greenwood, and Christopher (Carie) Dolle of Chilton, WI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
      She was preceded in death by her parents;  2 sons: Kenneth J. and Robert J. Dolle;  6 brothers: Sam, Joe, Bill, Vernon, Bob and Buddy; one great grandchild and many other relatives.
     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic School in Greenwood, WI.
