ELAINE E. PEROSHEK age, 89, of Greenwood, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Clark County Health Care Center, in Owen. Funeral services will be held at 11am at Missionary Baptist Church, in Greenwood, on Thursday, December 11, 2014. Rev. Doug Bjerke will officiate and burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tracey Emberson, Brandon Emberson, Brendon Emberson, David Colwell, Jon Meyer and Scott Krultz. Visitation will be held at the church, on Thursday, from 9:30am until time of service. Elaine Emily Belter was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on June 6, 1925, the daughter of Ernest and Emma (Kernin) Belter. At the age of 10, she moved to Greenwood with her family, where she was raised and received her education. After completing her schooling, Elaine had various jobs before her marriage to Frank J. Peroshek, Jr. She was a homemaker, raised her children, and resided in Greenwood until September 2014. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the church librarian for some time, a Gold Star Mother, and a former member of the Clark County Choraliers. Elaine also was a Girl Scout Leader; a foster parent, supported 3 children through an organization called Child Fund for many years, and supported many christian causes, the Humane Society and various charities. Elaine had many interests, but especially loved her dog, collecting spoons, music boxes, thimbles, and Coca-Cola memorabilia. Elaine is survived by her children: Terry (Lois) Emberson of Loganville, WI, Linda Anderson of Eau Claire, WI, Tony (Nichole) Peroshek of Greenwood, WI; one step daughter: Rebecca (Sam) Parker of Macomb, IL; 8 grandchildren: Tracey Emberson, Heather Meyer, Brendon Emberson, Brandon Emberson, Rebecca Colwell, Hannah Peroshek, Haven Peroshek, Hope Peroshek; 2 step grandchildren: Aaron Parker, Rachel Parker; several great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank, on October 7, 2000; one son, Randall K. Nauertz and one step-son, David Peroshek.
