Full Obituary

THOMAS E. DEGENHARDT age, 58, of Loyal, WI, died on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at House of the Dove, in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, in Loyal, at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church, on Saturday, from 10am until time of service.
Thomas Edwin Degenhardt was born in Chicago, IL on December 2, 1955, the son of Roman and Nancy (Hull) Degenhardt. When he was 2 years old, his family moved to Loyal, where he was raised and received his education. Tom was united in marriage on June 14, 1974 to Linda L. Hilber at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Colby, WI. He held various jobs in central Wisconsin and resided in Loyal until the time of his death.
Tom had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his family, the outdoors, hunting, learning about all types of animals, drawing and painting.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda, of Loyal; 4 daughters: Tina (Brian) Gossman of Tipton, IA,
Toni (Shannon) Kroening of Loyal, WI, Michele (Seth) Meier of Neillsville, WI, Carrie Lindgren of Ridgeland, MS; 5 sisters: Donna (Leo) Rosier of Loyal, WI, Sue Hederer of Colby, WI, Kitty Zakrzewicz of Loyal, WI, Margie (Clay) Delo of Spencer, WI, Peggy Degenhardt of Loyal, WI; 8 grandchildren: Alyssa and Danae Gossman, Josh and Dalton Kroening, Michael and Jessy Wilson, Kelly and Joe Lindgren; 2 great grandchildren: Cloey Payne and Ayden Lindgren; 6 sisters-in-law: Connie Hilber of Mayville, WI, Barbara (Pete) Davel of Menomonee Falls, WI, Gerrie (Don Price) Marcott-Price of Eagle River, AK, Dianne (Doug) Hempel of Germantown, WI, Lori (Tony) Reid of Medford, WI, Tammy (Dave) Null of El Paso, TX; 3 brothers-in-law: Thomas (Jenny) Hilber of Marshfield, WI, Duane Hilber (Cindy McSwain) of Appleton, WI, Douglas (Penny) Hilber of LaValle, WI; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law: Alex and Lucille Hilber; 2 grandchildren: Jamie and Eric Lindgren; and 3 brothers-in-law: Randy Zakrzewicz, Alex Hilber and Mark Marcott.
