Full Obituary
ANGELA F. SCHWINN, age 82, of Spencer, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Graveside services were held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00am at Loyal City Cemetery in Loyal, WI with Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiating. Angela Frances Fechter was born on February 15, 1932 in Newburg, WI, the daughter of Martin and Eva (Hentges) Fechter. She received her education at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Newburg. In 1950, Angela moved to the Greenwood area where she worked as a babysitter. She later worked for Weinbrenner Shoe's, the Loyal Cannery, and Figi's. She was united in marriage to Elmer H. Schwinn on June 22, 1963 in Neillsville, WI. In addition to raising her children, Angela always found time to help with chores on the farm. In her spare time, Angela loved to garden, play her accordian, do ceramics, and cut lawn. She also enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer football games, Milwaukee Brewers baseball games, and she later became a huge NASCAR fan always cheering for her favorite driver, Tony Stewart. Over the years, she attended many horse pulling events around the area with her daughter Rhonda. Angela was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. She is survived by two children: Alora (Roger) Rueth of Loyal and Rhonda Schwinn of Spencer; 2 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Susie Kloehn of Dania , FL, Josephine Schmitz of Port Washington, WI, and Gloria (John) Hahn of West Bend, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Angela was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer on April 30, 2001; 3 sisters: Merina Fechter, Evelyn Kohlbach, and Evangeline Bohn; and 5 brothers: Andrew, Matthew, Clarence, Edward and Mathew.
