Full Obituary

INEZ E. SPUHLER, age 82, of Loyal, died at the Marshfield Care Center on Saturday, December 28, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Neillsville. Burial will take place in the Loyal Cemetery at a later date.
Inez Elizabeth Free was born on March 15, 1931 on her family farm, in the Town of York, Clark County, WI, the daughter of Herbert and Inger (Searls) Free. She was raised on the family farm and received her elementary education in the Town of York, and graduated from Loyal High School in 1949. Inez was united in marriage to LaVern N. Spuhler on December 31, 1949. They farmed for a short time in the Neillsville area, then Marshfield, and in 1955, purchased a farm in the Town of Loyal. In 1968, she went to work at the TRG, in Loyal, and worked there until retiring in 1992.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Inez had many interests, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and baking.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, LaVern, of Loyal; her children: Michael (Sharon) Spuhler of Loyal, Jack (Barb) Spuhler of Thorp, Cathi (Dale) Goodwin of Loyal; 5 grandchildren: Thomas (Jenny) Spuhler of Loyal, Tracy Fischer of Stratford, Kenneth (Tammy) Spuhler of Elk Mound, Kevin (Kimber) Spuhler of Hastings, MN, Damon (Tracy) Goodwin of Loyal; 6 great grandchildren: Cheyanne and Alexis Spuhler, Sara and Rachel Fischer, Samantha and Devon Goodwin; one sister: Viola (Richard) Buchholz of Christie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Leatrice Murphy, and one brother: Donald Free.
