REGINA M. ROGALSKI, age 85, of Owen (formerly of Thorp), passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp. Rev. Al Jakubowski will officiate and burial will follow in St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 9:30am until time of service at the funeral home. Regina Mary Lobacz was born on January 12, 1928 in the Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, to Victor and Mary (Rogus) Lobacz and graduated from Thorp High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Chester Rogalski on August 28, 1948 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. After their marriage, Regina and Chet moved to Chicago to work. In 1957, they moved back to Thorp where they purchased the home dairy farm and raised their children. In addition to farming, Regina also worked at ITT Life Ins. Co. and at the Thorpedo Restaurant. In May 2005, they moved into the city of Thorp and purchased a home where Regina resided until entering Morgan Plaza. She later moved to the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen and resided there until her death. Regina's favorite hobbies were crossword puzzles, garage sales, and taking care of her beloved pets. She is survived by one son: Ronald (Jill) Rogalski of Thorp; one son-in-law: Ron Lee of Plymouth, WI; seven grandchildren: Sara Lee-Kurabelis, Jenelle Lee-Abbas, Kevin Rogalski, Eric Rogalski, Patrick Rogalski, Nicole Anderson, and Michael Anderson; three great-grandchildren: Tori Rogalski, Simra Abbas, and Shayan Abbas. She is further survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester in 2006, two daughters: Sandra Anderson in 2001 and Marie Lee in 2012; six brothers: John Lobacz, Mike Lobacz, Joe Lobacz, Stanley Lobacz, George Lobacz, and Ed Lobacz and two sisters: Ann Jaskot and Helen Krzyzanowski.
