Full Obituary

Jeanette Ella (Neumann) Senn, age 85, of Thorp, passed away at Oakbrook Health & Rehab on June 9, 2013, one day shy of her 86th birthday. She graduated from St. Catherine's High School in Racine in 1945 and then earned her three year nursing degree at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison before completing her BSN at the UW Madison. There she met and later married Charles Senn in 1953, who preceded her in death in 1981.
She is survived by her six sons: Charles married to Marla (Thorp), Gregory married to Barbara (Portales NM), Girard married to Stephanie (Wheaton IL), Roderic (Eau Claire), James and his significant other Joy (Manistee MI), and Michael married to Julie (Fremont). Jeanette is also survived by her six grandchildren: Elia (Ayat), Jennifer, Jacob, Alexander, Phillip and Felicia Senn. She leaves behind her sister Louise with her husband Bill Walthers and her sister-in-laws: Marilyn Senn, Ruth Senn, Helen Senn, and Lois Neumann; plus numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp on Thursday June 13, 2013, at 10:30am, with Father Don Meuret officiating. Visitation will be at the Thorp Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 and on Thursday, from 9:30am until time of service at the church. Internment will be in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery following the service. There will be a gathering of family and friends after internment at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Bernard-St Hedwig's Parish or Oakbrook Health & Rehab.
