Full Obituary

     Treva (Bender) Yoder, age 79 years, passed away peacefully from her battle with cancer on September 20, 2026, at her home in Spencer, WI.
     She was born on Jan. 24, 1947 to Henry and Irene (Nissley) Bender in Kalona, IA.  In her youth, she accepted Christ as her Saviour and was baptized.  She was a member at the Spencer Amish Church and remained faithful to God until her death.
     On November 23, 1967, she was united in marriage to Clarence J. Yoder.  They lived in matrimony for 58 years.
     Treva is survived by her husband, Clarence; 5 sons and 5 daughters: Miriam (Larry) Miller, Kenneth (Joanna), James (Lois), Aaron (Elsie), all from Spencer; Joanna (Duane) Erb of Slate Falls, ON, Jason (Esther) of Mt. Carroll, IL, Geneva (Eli) Gingerich of Jefferson City, MO, Ila, Dorcas (Wesley) Miller, John (Ruth), all of Spencer; 51 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Freda Kauffman of Bevier, MO, and Mary Ellen (Albert) Yoder of Kalona, IA; 2 brothers: David (Magdalena) Bender of Aylmer, ON, and Perry (Emma) Bender of Kalona, IA.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Thomas Raber; 3 infant granddaughters; sister, Barbara Ann Miller, and brother, Glenn Bender.
     Mom lived life-to-the-fullest, loving life with dad, and enjoyed her family.  She loved to interact with her grandchildren, and socialized with many friends and neighbors.  Her hand sewed many garments for the family and CAM.  Mom was a Budget scribe for over 30 years.
     The family wishes to express their thanks to the community, church, and friends who have remembered them with prayers, food and support through this difficult time.
