There will be a Celebration of Life held to honor Jacob at 2pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Snyder Park in Neillsville, WI.

     JACOB D. ANDERSON, age 27, of Neillsville, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.  A Celebration of Life to honor Jacob will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Snyder Park in Neillsville.

     Jacob Dean Anderson was born on July 28, 1998 in Portland, OR, the son of Brooks and Samantha (Shattuck) Anderson.  He was raised and received his education in Coos Bay, OR, graduating from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay in 2016.  After high school, Jacob hitchhiked from Oregon to Lyndon Station, WI to visit his aunt.  He then hitchhiked around Wisconsin for a couple years, before hitchhiking back to Coos Bay.  After a few years back in Oregon, Jacob returned to Mauston, WI and then settled in Neillsville, where he worked as a cook at Apple Valley Bar & Restaurant, and at the A&W Restaurant.

     He had many interests, but especially loved being in the outdoors, and pursuing his passion which was music and learning to play guitar.

     Jacob is survived by his mother, Samantha, and a brother, Christopher, both of Oregon; and his fiance, Dena McCluskey, of Neillsville.

     He was preceded in death by his father.
