Full Obituary

     Pamela A. Hallin, age 75, of Thorp, WI, passed away on Monday June 1, 2026 at Oakbrook Health  and Rehab in Thorp with her family at her side under the care of St. Croix Hospice. 
     Pamela Ann Kroon was born on September 13, 1950 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of James and Kathleen Kroon. 
     She was united in marriage to Richard (Dick) Hallin on April 12,1969, in Bensenville, IL. Together, they raised three sons and operated a family business. Family was her life and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. 
     Her hobbies were bowling, traveling, and camping.  Since her retirement in 2004, Pam and Dick have camped and traveled to many campgrounds before finally settling at O'Neil Creek Campground in Chippewa Falls, WI for the last 14 years. If you wanted to see her from April 15th to October 15th, you had to go there. As a result, she made many friends along the way. 
     Pam is survived by her loving husband of 57 years: Dick Hallin; 3 sons: Jim (Renee) Hallin,  Joe (Leslie) Hallin, Jeff (Megan) Hallin, all of Thorp;  8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Debra  (Neil) McDuffy of Genoa, IL and Linda (Calvin) Hunt of Elk Grove Village, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents.
     Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Thorp Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Beukema officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, at the funeral home, from 12:00 noon until time of service. Interment will be held at a later date at Sylvan Cemetery, rural Thorp.
