Full Obituary

     Donald C. Rogalski, age 91, of Thorp, WI, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Clark County Rehab & Living Center in Owen, WI.  A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Thorp Funeral Home, in Thorp, with Rev. Phil Beukema officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, in Withee, WI, with military rites conducted by the Thorp American Legion Post 118.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10am until time of service.
     Donald Clarence Rogalski was born on October 27, 1934 in the Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, to John W. and Evelyn K. (Ignowski) Rogalski.  He was raised on the family farm, received his education at Pozen School, and graduated from Thorp High School in 1954.  He then worked on the farm until enlisting into the U.S. Marines on March 6, 1956 and serving until his honorable discharge on March 5, 1958.  Don returned home to Thorp and was employed at Blue Moon Cheese, in Thorp, where he won many awards as a cheese maker.  He was united in marriage to Janet H. Stark on May 27, 1967 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee.  Don continued to work at Blue Moon Cheese until retiring after 37 years in 1995.
     He was a member of the Thorp Historical Society, and had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, gardening, mushroom picking in the Fall, and making lawn ornaments.
      Don is survived by his wife, Janet, of Owen, WI; two brothers: Richard Rogalski of Tucson, AZ and Robert Rogalski of Stevens Point, WI; one sister-in-law: Jo Rogalski of Crystal Falls, MI; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Janet, at birth; five brothers: Stanley, John, Frederick, Chester, and Clarence in infancy; four sisters: Marcella Ciokiewicz, Eleanor McCoy, Betty Ciokiewicz, and Alice Balicki.
