Sharon Ruth (Diller) Scearce age 82, formerly of Loyal, WI, died Tuesday March 10, 2026 at the home of her daughter near Stanley, WI after a period of declining health with congestive heart failure.

     She was born March 22, 1943 in Elida, OH, the daughter of Ralph and Esther (Good) Diller. On October 19,1963 she married Keith Scearce in Johnsville, OH and they made their home in WI. They shared 55 years of marriage until his death in November 2018. She was a member of the Owen Mennonite Church, Owen, WI.

     She is survived by eight children: Ethan and Joanna (Landis) Scearce, Mt Pleasant Mills, PA; Aaron and Rebekah (Amstutz) Scearce, Gleason, WI; Faith and Noah Hursh, Stanley, WI; Philip and Joanne (Smith) Scearce, Conrath, WI; Jason and Mildred (Hoover) Scearce, Sunbury, PA; Lydia and Jason Zimmerman, Flat Rock, IN; Esther and David Hursh, Loyal, WI; Peter and Deborah (Martin) Scearce, Belle Rive, IL. She is also survived by 61 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a sister Cleora and Eugene Campbell, Flat Gap, KY, and nieces and nephews.

     Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a granddaughter, Jalena Hursh, a grandson, Harold Scearce, a great-grandson, JaRon Scearce, two sisters Carolyn and Jake Hofer, and Darlene and Eli Mast.

     A viewing will be held Monday March 16, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, with the funeral Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10 am all at the Owen Mennonite Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. To listen to Sharon's funeral service, the call in number is: 715-316-9032.
