LYNN E. VOLLRATH, age 60, of Owen, WI, died peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026 surrounded by her family at Clark County Rehab & Living Center in Owen.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood, WI, with Rev. Geoff Smith officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

     Lynn Ellen Vollrath was born on May 18, 1965 in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of Richard T. and Corrine J. (Hare) Larson.  She was raised and received her education in Greenwood, attending St. Mary’s parochial school, and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1983.  Lynn was united in marriage to Richard A. Vollrath in September of 1986, and they lived in Willard, WI, where they had their son, Brody, in 1989.  They later moved to Mosinee, WI and began working for MetLife Insurance, which eventually led them to Illinois, where their son graduated.

     She moved to Florida to be near her son and family, where she worked as a medical assistant at various health care clinics.  Lynn eventually moved back to her home town area to be closer to family and friends.

     Lynn will be remembered for her love for all animals, but especially her black labs.  She was a deer hunter, loved the outdoors, loved to be in the sun, and walk on the beach and look for sea shells.  Lynn was an amazing cook, baker, and loved to can goods for her family.

     She will be dearly missed by her son, Brody (Kayli) Vollrath of Brentwood, TN; two grandsons: Luke and Noah Vollrath; her mother, Corrine Larson, of Greenwood, WI; three brothers: Jim (Karen) Larson of Horicon, WI, David (Alisha) Larson of Black River Falls, WI, and Jon (Alecia) Larson of Sacramento, CA; two sisters: Lisa (Joel) Kastner of Owen, WI, and Laura (David) Toburen of Greenwood, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

     Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Richard; two brothers: Michael and Mark Larson; and her sister-in-law, Lori Larson.
