Full Obituary

     LOU ANN SINDLER, age 71, of Thorp, WI, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Revival Church in Stanley, WI, with Pastor Gabriel Risinger officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1pm to 2pm.  Burial will be held at 9am on Monday, December 22nd at East Thorp Cemetery in Thorp.  Pallbearers will be: Luke Acker, Josiah Acker, Abijah Vojtasek, Logan Vojtasek, Seth Vojtasek and Mike Feinhauer.
     Lou Ann Coday was born on September 29, 1954 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John L. and Mildred I. (Balko) Coday.  She was raised in the Markham and Midlothian, IL area, graduating in 1972 from Bremen High School in Midlothian, IL.  Lou was united in marriage to John C. Sindler on June 17, 1972 in Markham, IL.  She was a stay-at-home mom and home schooled her daughters.  She instilled the importance of music in their lives, urging them to play the violin, even though she never knew music herself.  Lou was very involved in church activities, counseling and helping anyone in need, often taking in people who needed a place to get on their feet.  Christmas dinners were never for just the immediate family; there were always those invited who didn't have a place to go.
     She had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, having water fights with Super Soaker guns and playing on the Slip-n-Slide.  Lou often spent time in the tree house John built for the grandchildren, having Bible studies with them.
     Lou will be dearly missed by her husband of 53 years, John, of Thorp; two daughters: Delaine (Bradley) Acker of Thorp, Sara (Travis) Vojtasek of Eagle River, AK; seven grandchildren: Luke, Abigail and Josiah Acker, Abijah (Mariah) Vojtasek, Grace (Phillip Jr.) Sadler, Logan (Rachel) Vojtasek, Seth Vojtasek; two great-grandchildren: Skye and Archer Vojtasek, two sisters: Monette (Pat) Brown of Stanley, WI, Renee (Rick) Rykal of Boyd, WI; one sister-in-law, Mary Jo Coday, of Victoria, TX; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons: Judah and Simeon Acker; and two brothers: Terry and Kim Coday.
