A Celebration of Life for Roger will be held at the VFW Club in Eau Claire, WI, 1300 Starr Avenue, on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1pm to 5pm.  A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, November 10, 2025 at East Thorp Cemetery in Thorp, WI.

     ROGER D. ZUGIER, age 66, of Rock Creek, WI, passed away unexpectedly in Arizona on Thursday, September 18, 2025.  A Celebration of Life for Roger will be held at the VFW Club in Eau Claire, WI, 1300 Starr Avenue, on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1pm to 5pm.  A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, November 10, 2025 at East Thorp Cemetery, in Thorp, WI, with Pastor Bethany Walker officiating.
     Roger Dale Zugier was born on March 24, 1959 in Medford, WI, to Alfred and Lucille (Pokallus) Zugier.  He was raised in Lublin, WI, received his education in Gilman, WI, and graduated from Chippewa High School in 1977.  Roger then attended Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, WI and completed a course in autobody repair.  He worked in autobody repair for several years before moving into heavy duty trucks, retiring in 2022 from Truckaline Suspension Center in Altoona, WI.
     He had many interests, but especially loved fireworks, telling stories, was a jokester, and always willing to help others.  Roger was very creative, painting and designing many Harley Davidsons.  He was an avid downhill skier and loved extreme skiing.  When he couldn’t find it, he made it!
     Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Hinze of Rock Creek, WI; his daughter, Alicia Prime (Matt Klicinski) of Mesa, AZ; his step-daughter, Susie Hinze of Eau Claire, WI; two grandchildren: Nevaeh and Zaiden Hinze; three sisters: Connie (Junior) Miller of Medford, WI, Donna (Joe) Arvelo of Marshfield, WI, Peggy (Mike) Radakovich of Milwaukee, WI; one sister-in-law, Nonie Zugier of Boyd, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Zugier; his sister, Linda Marchinek; one nephew, Dan Zugier; two nieces: Cindy Zugier and Rebecca Radakovich.
