SUZEN KATHERINE PACKARD, 57, of Greenwood, WI, passed away at her home suddenly on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from a heart attack.
She was born on December 22, 1967, in San Francisco, CA, to John Frank and Patricia Leann (Parsons) Packard.  She grew up in Novato, CA, where her sassy, stubborn nature and contagious laugh first began to shine.  In high school, she proudly joined ROTC, a chapter she carried with pride.
In her 30s, Suzen made her way to Wisconsin with the circus, showing her resourcefulness and determination to build a life that was uniquely hers.  Later, she worked at her local carnival, where she could be spotted in her signature red, white, and blue cowboy hat or at her favorite hangout, the Kow Kickin’ Cafe.
She was her own person—bold, vibrant, and unapologetically herself, living out loud in a way that made her impossible to miss.  Suzen had a way of greeting each new day with a positive outlook, no matter what challenges the previous day had brought.  She delighted in simple joys— puzzles, holiday dinners, local events, scary movies, and coloring that doubled as therapy.  She adored dogs, had a sarcastic sense of humor, a strong faith, and a laugh that was uniquely hers—genuine, playful, and unmistakably Suzen.
Suzen is survived by her younger sister, Ann Marie Packard (Dean Miloslavich) of San Francisco; nieces and nephews: Nicole, Christina, Anthony, Aaron, and Athena; great-nieces and nephews: Cole, Aiden, Avery, Nixie, Nova, and Tamzynn; and cousin, Cristina Case.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Suzen’s life reminds us that true wealth is not measured in possessions, but in love freely given, stories joyfully shared, and the laughter that lingers long after we are gone.
