Full Obituary

     MERCHELLE L. HAHN, age 75, of Loyal, WI, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, September 1, 2025 in Greenwood, WI.   Visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home, in Loyal, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Buffalo Evangelical Free Church, in Buffalo, MN, with Pastor Greg Braly officiating.
     Merchelle Louise Larson was born on March 2, 1950 in Mankato, MN, to Roger H. C. and Mary M. (Markuson) Larson.  She was raised and received her education around the Twin Cities area, graduating in 1968 from Edina High School in Edina, MN.  After high school, Merchelle worked as a carhop at a local drive-in before she was united in marriage to Howard L. Hahn on April 21, 1973 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, in Nashua, Iowa.  They lived in Elk River, MN and Minneapolis, she attended Hennepin County Technical College for 2 years, and they both worked for Honeywell.  They later divorced.  After retiring in the early 2000's, Merchelle moved to Spencer, WI, and finally settled in Loyal, WI where she lived until her death.
     She had many interests, but loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her many hobbies included, traveling, scuba diving, scrapbooking, bowling, and painting ceramics.  She taught Junior Achievement at the YMCA and had a large collection of porcelain dolls.
     Merchelle will be dearly missed by her two children: Justin (Valarie) Hahn of Marshfield, WI, Monica Hahn of Greenwood, WI; her step-son, Michael Hahn of Minnesota; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, five siblings: John Larson of Brooklyn Center, MN, Joan Learned of Wayzata, MN, Carol (Colin) McLaughlin of Nowthen, MN, Patti (Rod) Wallace of Maple Grove, MN, Pam (Mark) Johnson of Andover, MN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Howard, on December 2, 2016; one daughter, Christin Hahn of September 29, 1980; and one sister, Judy Sanford.
