     JAMIE J. TRUCKEY, age 62, of Thorp, WI, passed away at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Saturday, March 1, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  A Celebration of Life for Jamie will be held at a later date.

     Jamie Jan Hoehnen was born on January 7, 1963 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of William D. "Bill" and Patricia J. "Pat" (Lotz) Hoehnen.  She was raised and received her education in Brookfield, WI, graduating from Brookfield East High School in 1981.  After high school, Jamie raised her daughter, Brittany, and worked as a clerk until moving to Gilman, WI in 1999.  While in Gilman, she worked in the produce department at the Gilman I.G.A. for several years.  Jamie was united in marriage to Ricky A. Truckey on July 15, 2011 at Sun Up Saloon in Thorp.  She worked alongside her husband operating their business until her passing.

     She was a member of Rock Dam Riders, and had many interests, but especially loved camping, singing, trail riding on the side-by-side, riding horses and shooting pool.

     Jamie will be dearly missed by her husband, Ricky, of Thorp; her daughter, Brittany Thomas (fiancé Nolan Wagner) of Eau Claire; her sister, Holli (John) Clark of Hartland, WI; her brother, Mark (Renate) Hoehnen of Brookfield, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Heidi Hoehnen.
