Full Obituary

     BARBARA A. KOSIK, age 92, of Thorp, WI, passed away at The Homeplace of Stanley on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
     Barbara Ann Przybylski was born on July 27, 1932 in Thorp, WI, the daughter of Edward V. and Estelle K. (Wegner) Przybylski.  She was raised on the family farm and received her education at Thorp area schools, graduating from Thorp High School in 1950.  Barbara was united in marriage to Joseph Kosik on May 5, 1951 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp.  In addition to working on their farm, she also worked for Dr. Jerome Dietzler, D.D.S. in Thorp for more than 30 years until her retirement.
     She had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Polka dancing, and solving crossword puzzles.
     Barbara is survived by one son, Jim Kosik, of Willard, WI; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Louis Przybylski of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Kosik; her son, Dan Kosik; three sisters: Louise Milas, Bernice Berkey, and Joan Miela; and one brother, Bernard Przybylski.
