Full Obituary

     PAUL V. LEWIEN, age 62, of Neenah, WI, formerly of Thorp, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Adava Care of Irish Road in Neenah. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Paul’s life on Saturday, September 28th. A Potluck Picnic will be held at Brunet Island State Park, Beach Picnic Shelter, in Cornell, WI, from 1:00-4:00 pm.  Feel free to bring a dish and memories to share.
    Paul Vincent Lewien was born on May 7, 1962 in Stanley, WI, to Steven J. "Steve" and Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Quade) Lewien, Sr.  He was raised and received his education in Thorp, graduating from Thorp High School in 1980.  After high school, Paul attended UW-Stevens Point and then went to work at Lake Dubay State Park as a park ranger.  He worked as a park ranger for many years.  Paul then worked in Chippewa Falls, WI as a grocery store manager for a few years, and finally in Medford, WI as a grocery store produce supervisor.  After suffering a stroke, he moved to Neenah in 2019, near his brother Fred, where he has resided until his death.
     He had many interests, but especially loved the outdoors.
     Paul is survived by three brothers: Steve (Noel) Lewien, Jr. of Clinton, IA, Fred (Marsha) Lewien of Neenah, David (Mary) Lewien of Ellsworth, WI; one sister: Mary (Al) Stouff of Medford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rich Lewien.
