Full Obituary

     JANE T. GAJDA, age 94, of Lublin, WI, passed away peacefully at Oakbrook Health and Rehab, in Thorp, WI, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.  Jane is survived by two daughters: Roberta (Bob) Niznik, and Sue (John) Olson; one son: Alan Gajda (Jenn); four grandchildren: Sara (Tom) Riemer, Erica (Allen) Jaedike, Benjamin (Kim) Olson, Michelle Olson (Doug); and four great-grandchildren: Logan & William Jaedike, and Liam & Elliott Olson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband: John Gajda; her mother & father: Anton and Mary (Kusmider) Siudak; three brothers: Joe, Frank and Ed; two sisters: Stella and Sophie.
     "Granny", as the family called her, loved gardening, and for some reason loved cutting grass. She was a phenomenal cook and was very proud of her Polish heritage.  She also loved the Disney cruises she went on with her family.  We will miss her dearly.
     The family is so grateful to the staff at Oakbrook who took such wonderful care of her during her nearly four years of living there. 
     Funeral services will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, WI on Friday, June 14, 2024.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will take place in the parish cemetery, followed by a lunch back at the church.
