GREGORY J. MURRAY, SR., age 81, of Lubin, WI, passed away at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, WI, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at a 8:00am on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at St. Peter - St. Paul Catholic Church in Gilman.

     Gregory John Murray was born February 12, 1942 in Chicago, IL, to Ed and Maxine (Kenney) Murray.  He was raised by his mother, and received his education in Chicago, where he graduated from high school.  Greg then attended Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.  He was united in marriage to Candelaria "Cande" Luna on December 22, 1971 at St. Thelca Catholic Church in Chicago.  In the late 1970's, they bought a dairy farm and moved to Lublin, WI.  After his wife's death on January 16, 2018, Greg and his son "Greggie", lived by themselves on their dairy farm, where Greggie helped care for him during his final years.  The hospitality and unselfish love extended by Greg and his family during the good times on the farm will be remembered by all of us.

     Greg is survived by his son: Gregory Jr., who will reside in Wisconsin with a guardian; his close brother-in-law: Don Luna of Grayslake, IL; and by several cousins, including: Jane Corrigan of Webster, WI, Kathleen (Corrigan) Eide of Minneapolis, Mary (Corrigan) Quinn of DeWitt, IA and Kevin Corrigan of Wheaton, IL.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Cande.
