Martha Clementine (King) Rhodes, age 87, of Lublin, Wisconsin, was born on April 30, 1936 in Palmer, Tennessee.  She was loved by all as a kind and supportive mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  Martha passed away on December 9, 2023, in Wausau, WI.

     A spiritual woman, Martha will be remembered for her love of God and family, and her love of quilting, needlepoint, and sewing. She also had a passion for gardening and raising animals—especially goats and chickens—as she once served as a leader in 4-H in Santa Rosa, California. She also enjoyed her musical talent in playing the piano and singing in choir.

     As a supportive mother and grandmother, she was always full of encouragement for the activities and careers of her children and grandchildren. She was a blessing to all of those around her and will be missed dearly.

     Martha was preceded in death by parents Auburn and Martha, son Leif; great-grandson Bryson; and her former husband and father of her children, David Rhodes. She is survived by her sister Rosalind; sister Charlotte; three children Daniel, Natalie, and Beckie; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

     Private family services will be held at a later date.
