Full Obituary

     KRISTY J. ELSINGER, age 46, of Loyal, WI, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, WI.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal, WI.  Rev. Daniel Zimmerman will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Loyal.  Pallbearers will be: Jesse Nelson, Mark Brecht, Tony Arata, Trent Elsinger, Pete Fitzl, and Jamey Young.  Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00am until time of service.  A Celebration of Life for Kristy will be held at the Loyal Sportsmans Club following the service.
     Kristy Joy Elsinger was born to James and Maria (Hakola) Elsinger on September 25, 1977 in Marshfield, WI. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic School and Loyal Public Schools, graduating from Loyal High School in 1996.  She worked in pediatrics at St. Joseph's Hospital as a CNA, and later transferred to Marshfield Clinic Pediatrics as an MA.  When covid struck, she began working from home as a Clinical Quality Coordinator with Pediatrics until the present time.  She also began part-time bartending at The Red Door Saloon in Loyal, and kept everyone in line with her humor and antics.
     She had many interests, but especially enjoyed reading, walking, yardwork, attending her sons' sporting events, going to the lake, music, trips to Milwaukee, the Packers, and shaking dice.
     Kristy will be dearly missed by her parents; her son, Gavin Wiechers, of Loyal; one sister, Jenny (Clay) Schillinger, of Spencer; her niece, Macy Griepentrog; her nephew, Talen Griepentrog; her faithful dog Harper; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
     She was preceded by her grandparents, John and Marian (Rueth) Elsinger and Art and Gertrude (Wirtala)Hakola; three uncles, Jerry Elsinger, Warren Tesmer and William Erickson; and two aunts, Arnette Elsinger and Judy Wann.
     In lieu of flowers, donations to Kristy’s son, Gavin, will be greatly appreciated.
