     David “Davey” Auman, 61, Willard, died on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at the Marshfield Clinic Neillsville hospital. Private burial of cremains will be held at the Willard Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
     Davey was born in Neillsville to Frank and Rose Auman on April 5, 1962, the youngest of 11 children. He attended Willard and Greenwood area schools. He worked most of his adult life in the logging industry, for many years with Tlusty Logging and for a short time in a business he operated with his brother, Bobby. Davey’s interests included fishing, hunting, working on and driving his tractors and other vehicles, woodworking, playing drums, and visiting with family members and friends.
     Davey is survived by eight siblings: Mary Ann Lesar of Loyal, Bernice LaMarr of Neillsville, Nancy Auman of Racine, Jerry (Marilynn) Auman of Willard, Linda (Dennis Schumacher) Villalpando of Spencer, Elaine (Bob) Langreck of Spencer, Rosalie Auman of Spencer, and Debbie Auman of Muskego; nieces and nephews: Laura (Bernie) Kolano of Greenwood, Dean Lesar of Willard, Brian (Jamie) Langreck of Medford, Brenda Johnson of Spencer, Beth (Mark) Schmitt of Waukesha, Brad (Stacy) Langreck of East Troy, Gene (Lori) LaMarr of Missouri, Pat (Heather) Villalpando of Eau Claire, and Mike (Dawn) Villalpando of Conrath; and his close friend, Denny Bauer.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rose Auman; one sister, Angie Auman; one brother, Robert “Bobby” Auman; one nephew, Dean LaMarr; and three brothers-in-law: Louie Lesar, Harvey LaMarr and Darrel Wejner.
