Mildred Marie Denk was born on April 2, 1944 to Gerald W. and Anna J. (Lindner) Denk in Greenwood, WI. One of nine children, Mildred helped her parents with the farm and worked as a nanny in the Chicago area. After graduating from Greenwood High School, she went on to Madison to study nursing. When she finished her nursing studies, Millie took great pride in working as a nurse at Marshfield Hospital. She married her high school sweet heart, Dennis I. Her great loves were her faith, her family, and especially her grandchildren. Millie also enjoyed bowling, attending her children's activities, baking, was an avid Badger, Packer and Brewer fan and was always welcoming....everyone was family.
