JACQUELINE A. "JACKIE" LINDNER, age 91, of Greenwood, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, WI.  Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Greenwood.  Rev. Emmanuel Famiyeh will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Wednesday, from 10am until time of service.
Jacqueline Ann Lindner was born on August 8, 1931 in Loyal, WI, to Casper and Marie A. (Keller) Lindner.  She was raised on the family farm, received her education at St. Mary's Catholic School, and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1949.  Jackie then attended Stevens Point Normal School for 2 years, earning her teaching certificate.  She taught at Rocky Run, in the Mead Township for five years, followed by Spencer Public Schools where she taught 2nd grade.  Jackie completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Education at U-W Stevens Point, and then completed her Master’s Degree in Education at U-W Superior.  She taught at Spencer until retiring after 39 years of employment.
She was a very active lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Anne's Society. Jackie taught religious education for 49 years, was the Leader of Prayer for 25 years, and was a member of the board of St. Mary's Memorial Fund for 25+ years, 24 years as its president.
Jackie had many interests, but especially enjoyed flower gardening, reading, teaching, and spending time with family and friends. She was a very kind and compassionate lady. Her unique and clever sense of humor was a joy to experience. We will forever cherish the many memories of family gatherings and free advice she gave to all.  She led by example in many charitable and caring ways.  Faith and family were first in her life. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is survived by four sisters: Irene Wilke of Loyal, Jeanette Sullivan of  Warrenton, VA, Shirley (Henry) Janezich of Willard, Dorothy Wessel of Sheboygan; three brothers: Donald (MaryAnn) Lindner of Greenwood, Richard (Bonnie) Lindner of Greenwood, LaVerne "Pete" (Joan) Lindner of Loyal; one sister-in-law: Shirley Lindner of Loyal; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Carl Lindner and Arthur Lindner; and one sister: Elaine "Sis" Herdrich.

"Well done thou good and faithful servant.   Enter thou into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:21)
