Full Obituary ALLAN F. NOAH, age 75, of Greenwood, WI, passed away at his home on Friday, July 22, 2022 with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Pastor Elizabeth Bier will officiate, and burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Wayne Nielsen, Andy Nielsen, Fred Gregorich, Lawrence Rose, Tim Kopp, Bruce Kirn. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Plautz, Roger (Bear) Gregorich, Bob Karo. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 3pm to 7pm, and again on Monday, at the church, from 9:00am until time of service.
Allan Frank Noah was born on July 26, 1946 in Marshfield, WI, to Arthur A. and Annie K. (Saule) Noah. He was raised on the family farm and then was taken in by his foster parents, Elmer and Joyce Bombach, where Al and several of his brothers were raised on their farm. Al received his education at Rocky Run School, Willard State Graded School, and at Greenwood Public Schools. Al worked various places in Clark County, including; for Stanley Volovsek, for Pat Plautz at Tower Hill Construction; for Dave Volovsek, and for his father-in-law at Noeldner Construction. In 1966, Al went to work for Barr's Minkery, now Barr's Animal Foods, and retired from there after almost 54 years of employment.
He had many interests, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family, deer hunting, fishing, making maple syrup, working in his sawmill, woodworking, and using his creative engineering to fix anything.
He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Al will be dearly missed by his wife, Brenda, of Greenwood; his children: Ann (Todd) Graski of Withee, Marcus (Jessica) Noah of Marshfield, and Kourtney Groshek (Bill Huebsch) of Weston; his grandchildren: Ryan, Alyssa, Ben, Cassidy, Dan, Shyla, Sawyer, Gavin, Emma, Isabel, and Emily; one great-granddaughter: Cereza; one brother: Arthur Noah, Jr. of Neillsville; two sisters: Sandy Egstad of Neillsville and Mary Jane Langhoff of Spencer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Annie Noah; one daughter: Cheryl Lynn Noah on June 8, 2022; his foster parents Elmer and Joyce Bombach; four brothers: Richard "Dick", Ronald, James and Donald Noah; and his sister: Dorothy Huth.
