JAMES P. VOLK, age 70, of Owen, WI, was taken home by the angels to his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.  He had been a resident at Clark County Rehab & Living Center, in Owen, for many years.  A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, in Loyal, WI, with Rev. Leo Johnson officiating.

     James Patrick Volk was born on October 22, 1951 in Sparta, WI to William J. and Helen L. (Finch) Volk.  Jimmy has been physically challenged since his birth and has been cared for all of his life.  He was a quiet soul and very content wherever he was at, and loved music.

     He will be dearly missed by four sisters: Linda (Don) Matthews of Republic, WA, Patty Minx of Asheville, NC, Mary (Alan) Wheeler of Winona, MN, Sue (David) Wooden of La Crescent, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

     Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: William and Thomas Volk; and two sisters: Sandra Volk and Henrietta Volk in infancy.
