Virginia Roseann Syryczuk was born on November 19, 1932 in Lublin, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Nowak) Syryczuk. She was raised on the family farm, educated at Polley school, and graduated from Gilman High School. After graduation, Virginia attended Teachers College in Medford earning her teaching certification.  She began her teaching career at a one room school house in the Town of Holway.  During the summer months, Virginia attended summer school at UW-Stevens Point. She would later teach in Stanley before joining the Owen-Withee School District where she taught elementary students until her retirement in the mid 1980's.  Even after retiring, Virginia served as a substitute teacher for several school districts over the years.  In addition, Virginia also helped on the dairy farm until 2000, when they sold the farm to their son, Dan and daughter-in-law, Tina.  They moved into Lublin where she resided until her death.
She had many interests, but especially enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and loved "being on the road". Additionally, she loved listening to polka music and was self-proclaimed as the #1 fan of the Chad Pryzybyski polka band!
Virginia was a very active member of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church where she served in various capacities.  She was also active in area 4-H Clubs for many, many years.
She is survived by her 7 children: Michael (Pat) of Gilman, Sharon Ustianowski of Lewis, CO, Terry (Pam) of Dover, FL, Jody (Cheryl) of Lublin, Kelly Ustianowski of Waycross, GA, Dan (Tina) of Lublin, and Natasha Ustianowski of Sturgeon Bay; 13 grandchildren: Randy, Billy, Julia, Christina, Laci, Nathan, Kyle, Kody, Hunter, Blake, Branden, Max and Dex; 4 step-grandchildren: Morgan Christensen, Mitchell Grandaw, Ben and Roman Larson; 7 great-grandchildren: Marcel, Ashton, Huxley, Bohdan, Wesley, Natalie, Franklin; and 1 step-great-grandson: Bennie, Jr; 1 brother: Irving Syryczuk of Medford, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
