Full Obituary

     CLARABELLE A. "LEFTY" DJUBENSKI, age 86, of Greenwood, WI, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 12, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood.  Rev. Leo Johnson will officiate, and burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Anji Djubenski, Jonathon Djubenski, Mike Djubenski, Steve Djubenski, Jamie Szymanski, Kayln Szymanski, Jared Szymanski, Aarica Seagren, and Tylor Djubenski.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Saturday, from 11am until time of service.
     Clarabelle A. Henchen was born on August 10, 1935 in the Town of Weston, Clark County, WI, to Clarence F. and Agnes H. (Minsaas) Henchen, Sr.  She grew up on a farm in the Town of Weston and attended Globe School.  Her family moved to Loyal, WI where she completed her education, graduating from Loyal High School in 1953.  Clarabelle was united in marriage to Andrew Benedict Djubenski on May 13, 1953.  They farmed in the Willard area and she also worked at Louie Behrens' turkey farm.  They moved to Greenwood, where she tended bar at George Holub's bar, but most of her life was spent as a homemaker raising her family.
     She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Society.
     Clarabelle had many interests that included flowers, birds, wind chimes, classic country music, camping with her grandkids, and Braves and Brewers baseball. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
     She will be dearly missed by her children: Mark (Julie) of Greenwood, Ray (Colleen) of Phillips, Tom of Greenwood, Dennis (Alicia) of Greenwood, Brenda (Michael) Szymanski of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with two on the way; two brothers: Ronald (Joanne) Henchen of Eau Claire, and Clarence F. "Snuffy" Henchen, Jr. of Marshfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     Clarabelle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew, on November 20, 2002; one grandson, Christopher Djubenski; three brothers: Robert, Arthur, and Delmond "Butch" Henchen; and one sister, Doris "Nooky" Diercks.
