RICHARD ROHLFING, age 82, of Woodridge, IL, passed away at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living in Medford, WI on Monday, July 5, 2021.  There will be no services held.

     Richard Rohlfing was born on February 16, 1939 in Illinois, to Willard and Mildred (Duensing) Rohlfing.  He was raised and received his education in the Chicago area.  Richard was united in marriage to Susan C. Novak on October 1, 1960.  They raised their family in Woodridge, IL, and he worked as a carpenter for many years.  His wife of 50 years, Susan, died on July 8, 2011.  

     He had many interests, but especially loved watching NASCAR, the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan, camping, and fishing.

     Richard is survived by 3 daughters: Nancy (Arthur) Mueller of Lublin, WI, Elizabeth (David) Keib of Joliet, IL, Kimberly (Donald Jr.) Kulinowski of Carol Stream, IL; 4 grandchildren: Sarah, Joe, Ashley, and Emily; 3 great-grandchildren; one sister: Dorothy (David) Nordlund of Lawrence, KS; one brother: Warren Rohlfing of Miami, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Susan.
