Full Obituary
URSLA A. SMITH, age 51, of Greenwood, WI, passed away unexpectedly at Marshfield Medical Center, in Marshfield, WI, on Saturday, June 13, 2020.
Ursla Ann Hendricks was born on August 26, 1968 in Aurora, CO, at Fitzsimmons General Hospital. She was the first of 5 daughters born to Forrest William and Jane Ellen (Crosswhite) Hendricks. Her family moved often due to her father being in the Air Force. They settled in Springfield, MO, where she was raised and received her education, graduating from Central High School 1986. She moved to Marshfield, WI, where she attended Mid-State Technical College. After completing her studies at Mid-State, she attended UW-Stout, in Menomonie, WI, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. Ursla spent most of her life as a homemaker caring for her son, Jeremy.
She had many interests, but especially loved her time with family and friends, her pets, gardening, flowers, crafts and going for drives.
Ursla will be dearly missed by her dear friend of 28 years, David Hart, of Greenwood; her daughter: Miranda Nease of Oklahoma City, OK; her sons: Rick Beckham of Springfield, MO, and Jeremy Hart of Greenwood; her grandchildren: William Gintz, James Nease, Dameon Battle, Ezra Jenkins and Liam Beckham; her sisters: Tina (Jason) Stump of Springfield, MO, Sherry Geringer of Bolivar, MO, Theresa King, of Bolivar, MO and Melissa (Jonathon) Miller of Springfield, MO; 11 nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter: Kaitlyn Renee Hart (in infancy) on November 15, 1993.
A remembrance memorial will be held at 2pm on June 20, 2020 at Grant Beach Park in Springfield, MO.
