Full Obituary

     STEVEN J. "STEVE" SCHARENBROCK, age 64, of Willard, WI, passed away at House of the Dove, in Marshfield, WI, on Friday, December 6, 2019.  A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held at Behind Barr's, in Greenwood, from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
     Steven John Scharenbrock was born on September 5, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the son of John and Elizabeth "Betty" (Thiel) Scharenbrock.  He was raised and received his education in Chicago, graduating in 1974 from Gordon Technical High School in Chicago.  After completing high school, Steve worked for a food distribution company in Chicago until moving to Willard, WI in 1981.  He worked for Fleming Foods Company, in Marshfield, for several years.  After they closed, Steve worked at Heartland Co-op in Greenwood, and drove school bus for the Greenwood School District.  His last employment was with Grassland Dairy, in Greenwood, until his retirement.
     He was a member of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation and the Willard Historical Society.  Steve had many interests, but especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
     Steve is survived by his wife, Linda, of Willard; one step-son: Josh (Gina) Thorson of Medford; 3 step-grandchildren: Brynn, Blake and Ty Thorson; 2 sisters: Sandra Scharenbrock of Phoenix, AZ and Susan Scharenbrock of Chicago, IL; one uncle: Jim (Joan) Scharenbrock of Ocean Isle, NC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents.
