Full Obituary
SHAWN M. LANG, age 43, of Marshfield, WI, passed away in Spencer, WI, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Marshfield. Deacon Raymond Draeger will officiate, and burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Marshfield. Pallbearers will be: Dylan Lang, Jaden Makovsky, Austyn Kohls, Brad Kohls, Kris Makovsky, Adam Drexler, Ray Becker, Eric Scheppler and Jason Krenn. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm, and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of service.
Shawn Michael Lang was born on February 13, 1975 in Marshfield, WI, to Jerome and Shirley (Bauer) Lang. He was raised and received his education in Marshfield, graduating from Marshfield Senior High School in 1993. Shawn worked all his life as a stainless-steel pipe fitter.
He was a member of Corpus Christie Catholic Church in Bakerville.
Shawn was a fun-loving, hard-working, lover of life who was loved by everyone. All who knew him knew he was full of life, and he lived life as full as he could. His smile was contagious, and he always talked about the good ol' days. Shawn wanted everyone to be together, smile, and love life. He definitely lived life to the fullest and is now free and riding his Harley in the sky. Shawn was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend who had a heart of gold.
He is lovingly survived by his son: Dylan Lang of Marshfield; his parents: Jerome and Shirley Lang of Spencer; 2 sisters: Stacy (Kris) Makovsky of Medford, Shanna (Bradley) Kohls of Spencer; nieces and nephews: Katelin and Jaden Makovsky of Medford, and Austyn and Montana Kohls of Spencer; his godfather: James Lang of Marshfield; other relatives and many friends.
Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents: John & Regina Lang, Leonard & Eleanor Bauer; and his godmother: Jeanette Lang.
