Full Obituary

     TROY A. ZABEL, age 35, of Greenwood, died on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in the Town of Loyal. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Greenwood American Legion on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm.
     Troy Allen Zabel was born on May 8, 1983 in Neillsville, WI, to David J. and Connie A. (Colby) Zabel. He was raised and received his education in Greenwood, graduating from Greenwood High School in 2001. During high school, Troy worked for Bill Speich on his farm, and after graduation, was employed with Wick's Building Systems, in Marshfield. He later returned to work for Bill Speich, and then was employed with Lynn Dairy, as a cheesemaker, until his death.
     He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his son, Logan, and his family, he loved following Brewer Baseball and NASCAR, fishing and hunting.
     Troy is survived by his son: Logan Zabel of Wausau; his parents: Dave and Connie Zabel of Greenwood; his brother: Travis (Brenda) Zabel of Loyal; two nephews: Isaac and Marshall Zabel of Loyal; his fiance: Jenifer Bender of Greenwood; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Earl and Rose Zabel, and Dennis Sr. and Naomi Colby.
