Full Obituary
MAE A. TRAMPUSH, age 87, of Loyal, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the House of the Dove, in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Greenwood, with Rev. Steve Brice officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, in Loyal, at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church, on Saturday, from 10:30am until time of service.
Mae Alberta Bauer was born on January 2, 1931 in Marshfield, WI, to Roland and Beatrice (Hubing) Bauer. She was raised on the family farm near Spokeville and received her education at Mack School and Loyal High School. Mae was united in marriage to Henry A. Trampush on November 29, 1947 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal. They farmed near Greenwood until 1951, at which time they bought a farm two miles north of Loyal. Mae was a homemaker, farmwife and dedicated mother to her children. During the summers, she also worked at the Loyal Cannery. She resided at home until a short time before her death.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and its PCCW, and a member of the Loyal American Legion Auxiliary.
Mae had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her family, gardening, flowers and plants, cooking, auctions, antiques, estate sales, animals, reading, and keeping a daily journal, which she has done since 1969.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Kathy (Ray) Mancl of Luxemburg, WI, Karen (Mark) Jensen of De Forest, WI, Cindy (Scott) Senior of Gross Pointe Park, MI, Bruce (Diane) Trampush of Marshfield, WI, Warren (Carolyn) Trampush of Loyal; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law: Donna Bauer of Loyal and Sally Bauer of Wisconsin Rapids; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry, on June 20, 1996; one son in infancy; one granddaughter: Mara J. Trampush on August 28, 2013; 2 sisters: Arlene Mondloch, Virginia Seefluth; and 3 brothers: Kenneth, Wallace and Sylvester Bauer.
