Albert Lawrence Wink, Jr. was born on August 24, 1930 in the Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, to Albert Sr. and Elizabeth (Keller) Wink. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at St. Bernard's Catholic School. After completing his education, Albert farmed with his father in the Town of Reseburg for a short time, before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He served in Fort Carson, CO until his brother's death, at which time he was discharged to go back to work on the family farm.
He was united in marriage to Arlene A. Licht on June 5, 1971 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. They farmed together in the Town of Reseburg for many years, and raised their three children. After selling the farm to their son, Steve, Albert worked at Swiderski Implement until his retirement, when they moved to Marshfield.
Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus Queen of Peace Council #4634. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed bowling, deer hunting and fishing.
